Cozy Christmas Bear Star Ornament

Found the directions for an easy 3D dimensional star and thought this sweet little bear would be kind of cute to dangle from it.

You can find 246 COZY CHRISTMAS BEAR at Magnolia-licious along with more of the images from the Little Christmas Collection.  Also find A Christmas Story collection and check out all the colored images!  The gals did a terrific coloring and so inspiring!
Hard to tell, but I've used a silver mirror card stock along with turquoise, pink and white.  It looks black or gray on the photos!!!  The image is colored with Promarkers and I've used some Spellbinders dies, a Cuttlebug embossing folder and some ribbon and cording.

The star ornament was fun and very easy to make.  Click HERE to go directly to the instructions.  Sandra has terrific directions and I thank her for sharing them.  My Scor-Buddy worked great for putting the crease lines in the star pieces.

If you haven't checked out the latest Magnolia-licious Blog Hop and challenge, you will want to check out all the fun and creative interactive tags.  All the details and the hop order are on the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy every day!

Interactive Christmas Tag Blog Hop

Are you ready for some fun??!!!!  I'm going to start you out with my project for an interactive tag.  Both design teams for Magnolia-licious have been busy creating for our November Blog Hop and challenge.  There are TWO challenges:  ONE to make an interactive tag and TWO count the candy canes you find on the first image on each blog throughout the hop.  You will find more of the details at the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog and also the list of names to follow along on the hop if you get side-tracked.  Diana is always so generous with her prizes and she is definitely in the Christmas spirit for the prizes for these challenges too!
I've used yet another adorable Tilda from the Little Christmas Collection 2012.  Here is a list of the items from Magnolia-licious:
215 CHRISTMAS TILDA WITH CAT
445 JASPER
27 MAGNOLIA TREE - leaves
68 CLOVER WITH FLOWER DOOHICKEY DIES
26 HEART SWIRL DOOHICKEY DIE
8 DOILY FLOWERS
7 OLD SWEDISH LACE DOOHICKEY DIE
The interactive part on my project is not only the folded flaps, but I also put a wobble mechanism behind Tilda and Jasper, so they do a little shimmy when the card is jiggled.  The images are colored with Promarkers.  The oval frame is a Spellbinders die, the embossing folder is Cuttlebug and I've added some pearls and ribbon.
That really nice Diana at Magnolia-licious offers store credit for purchases even on the already discounted prices AND free shipping for qualifying orders!!!  You will find they have a fantastic selection of Magnolia stamps, a wonderful assortment of dies and lots of other great products.

Now you will want to head over to that sweet and talented Cabio at Cabio's Craft Corner to see what creative project she has made.  We hope you will join us in these fun challenges!

EDIT:  People have been asking and I got my Wobbles from Amazon!
Enjoy every day!  Thanks for stopping by!

Joyful Tilda

This adorable Tilda is another from the A Christmas Story collection.  She is very versatile as you can see and can be used other than Christmas too!
351 JOYFUL TILDA and you can find her at Magnolia-licious!  Tilda is colored with Promarkers.  I've used the flowers from 22 VINTAGE FLOWERS AND LEAVES DOOHICKEY DIE.

The oval is a Spellbinders frame, the corners are a Cuttlebug die and the butterflies and flower centers are Punch Bunch punches.  Pearls for the flower centers and white gel pen for accents.

She would be the perfect image for a tea part invitation wouldn't she!!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and as always appreciate your comments!!!
Enjoy every day!

Edwin Makes Me Smile and Holly card

Been a little side-tracked from card making lately, but managed to get back into some card making.  Loved this image of Edwin and added some snowflakes in the background.  I think this Edwin can be used for not only holiday, but any winter occasion card.

117 SKI EDWIN WITH SNOWFLAKES
432 JINGLE JANGLE SNOWFLAKES
I used the regular Smile stamp, but the mini is available.
MINI VERSION 704 YOU MAKE ME SMILE

Colored with Promarkers and used a snowflake punch and border punch for accents along with some half pearls and fancy yarn for the tie.

I loved the holly stamp that also came in the A Christmas Story collection and wanted to make a fairly simple and quick card that would be easy for mailing.
413 HOLLY SWIRL

Also used an old season's greetings stamp along with a Cuttlebug holly embossing folder and a MS border punch.  I've colored with the Promarkers.

You will find a terrific selection of Magnolia products for all Maggie lovers at fantastic prices at Magnolia-licious.  There are also lots of wonderful dies and other fun products too!  Dies seem to be one of my latest addictions lately and there are so many new styles available.  You can check them out HERE!  (Click on the name brand in the left column.)

Besides offering such a great selection at Magnolia-licious, Diana and her team offer quick and awesome service.  Don't forget to check out the card gallery for inspiration.

Watch for the upcoming Blog Hop on the 29th of November and we hope you will join us!

Stay tuned.....another project coming tomorrow!!!
Enjoy every day!!!

Pixie Tilda on the Rooftop

I really like this challenge that Dear Norma has come up with for this month's Challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites!!!  Something hidden!!!  So many of the Magnolia images have a place where you can tuck a hidden message behind it.  Interactive cards are always fun to make and receive!
The Magnolia images I used are from Magnolia-licious:
26 MB MARIETTA BUCKLE DIE  (Cut in 4th and used in corners)

Merry Christmas is the Holly Post from the 2009 So Jolly Collection and the Christmas Story Paper, sorry, out of stock right now.   A couple of great substitutes would be 702 A MERRY CHRISTMAS and MINI PAPER PACK SWEET CHRISTMAS.

Coloring is with the Promarkers.  The Celebrate is part of a Hero Arts Stamp. Spellbinders circle dies were used for the corners and medallion.  Ribbon and pearls for a little extra!!!!

Be sure to check out the wonderful specials Diana has at Magnolia-licious!!!  I like good deals and you will find them there along with great customer service!!!!  Love the bundles!!!

Hope you will put on your thinking caps and join us in the Hidden Challenge this month at Magnolia-licious Highlites.  Diana always offers a very generous prize for some lucky entrant!  Click HERE to get the details!

Singing Jasper

This little cutie cat looked like he might be singing!!!  I've used him for a Christmas card, but also think he could be used for many other occasions!  He is from the latest A Christmas Story collection.

What I've used on this card:
445 JASPER
7 OLD SWEDISH LACE DOOHICKEY DIE
31 MINI DOILY DOOHICKEY DIE
17 SNOWFLAKE AND MISTLETOE DOOHICKEY DIE
MB 131 VIRTUOSA MUSIC MEMORY BOX DIE that I used is out of stock right now, but there is another nice one available.
MB 130 MUSICAL INTERLUDE 98355 MEMORY BOX DIE
Just a reminder you can also check out lots of ideas at Magnolia-licious. Just click on CARD GALLERY for access to lots of inspirational projects.

Have you seen the new Nativity Collection???  So many cute images and many will be perfect for other things outside of Christmas too!  Always love that when we can get more than one specific use out of a stamp!  You can pre-order now, but it sounds like they will be in soon.    Click HERE to check them out!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!  Your comments are always enjoyed and appreciated!

Jingle Jangle Tilda and Jasper

This Christmas Story Collection has so many adorable images!  So much fun coloring with my Promarkers.  These are from Magnolia-licious  but are very popular, so you might want to order quickly to get them in time to do some cards this season.  Check out the awesome images from this collection that some of the design team gals have colored for Diana!  What nice inspiration to see them instead of just the black and white.  Fantastic job gals!!!
The things I used are:
341 JINGLE JANGLE TILDA
445 JASPER
I used an old Sizzix die for the Merry Christmas, but the
MB 140 TYPEWRITER UPPER ALPHABET 98367 MEMORY BOX DIE would work nicely and be about the same height and you could make any word or words you want!!!  The MB 136 PARKER UPPER ALPHABET 98364 MEMORY BOX DIE has letters just a little taller and would work as well.

The background paper is the mini Christmas Story papers.  Please check with Diana about the availability.  They are very popular and I can understand why....LOVE all the prints, but especially the red and white stripes!!!!

Diana also has a fantastic special collection of Christmas minis HERE.  Good time to get minis that are the perfect size for tags.  (Check out my last post!)  If you have some of these in this collection already, then you would have some extras to give as gifts.  Excellent buy and WOW, she is even giving you a binder.  They are awesome and you will love this fabulous way to store your minis.

Don't forget Diana at Magnolia-licious also offers a store credit besides the discounts she already gives plus free shipping on orders of $75 (US) or more!!!  Not only a fantastic selection of Magnolias, but also wonderful selection of dies and lots of other fun stuff too!!!

Will be posting more from this cutie collection soon!

Enjoy every day!

12 Mini Magnolia Tags of Christmas

This was a great way to get a bunch of tags done at one time!  I pulled out a bunch of my Mini Magnolia images, dies and punches along with 4 colors of card stock.  Cut out 12 tags 2 1/2" x 5" then started coloring, die cutting and punching out things.  Didn't have anything special for the tags, just cut the card stock out at the 2 1/2" x 5", cut off one corner with a scissors, took the piece I cut off and laid it on the opposite side to cut the other corner off.  Then punched a whole for the ribbon too.  Easy tag!!!  You certainly could make any size you want!  The basket was something I picked up at Michael's a long time ago.

I did also use the reinforcement circle die from the #1 VINTAGE TAG DOOHICKEY DIE along with a few different Spellbinder dies and some embossing folders.  Images are colored with Promarkers and accented with white gel pen.

As you can see the minis work nicely on these, but regular size could be used too.  I've tried to make links to the ones available, but some are out of stock.  If you are interested in ones out of stock, please check with Diana at Magnolia-licious.  These images were from the Sweet Christmas Dreams of 2011 and available soon the Mini A Christmas Story collection would work equally as well on the tags.  So many adorable images in that collection!!!!  Diana also has a terrific buy on a very nice Mini Christmas Collection Bundle right now too!

These were fun to do and hope everyone will give them a try too!  I think they will make a nice little gift package.

Enjoy every day!

Think Pink Treats

The Magnolia-licious DT wants to help promote awareness/early detection and share what this Think Pink Month is about with ALL women!  We also want to honor all of those women that have or are currently fighting this disease and show our support in the fight!!  To show our support the DT has planned our own “Think Pink” Celebration and we hope you can all join in.  Each DT gal has created some Sweet-PINK treats and PINK Packaging to match using those beautiful Magnolia images.  You can find some Magnolia stamps that were created specifically for Pink Ribbon Awareness at Magnolia-licious HERE.  So have fun hopping along to see all the fabulous Pink-a-licious Creations and make sure to stop back by the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to join in on the fun too!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) is an annual international health campaign organized by major companies every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer.  The Pink Ribbon symbol was used in 1993 by Evelyn Lauder as the symbol of The Breast Cancer Research Fund she founded and is used to symbolize the fight against the disease.  We also honor those that have fought the battle and who are currently fighting the battle while raising awareness to ALL women to be aware of the symptoms and to be proactive against the disease.   Want to find out more?  The National Breast Cancer Foundation HERE for those in the US and globally at the PinkRibbon.org site HERE!
  • In 2011 Nearly 1.5 million women across the world were told they had breast cancer
  • One-third of breast cancer deaths can be decreased with early detection and treatment
  • In the US 1 out of 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer over their lifetime, an estimated 527 women are diagnosed in the US with breast cancer each day

Another fun challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites from our lovely Hostess Angela Wood for a Halloween Project.  These are for the little Trick or Treaters that come knocking at my door on Halloween!  The adorable mini Tilda's fit so nicely on these little baskets.   Ooops, no candy in the baskets though.  Hmmm, is it because I haven't bought any yet or because it already disappeared???!!!  :)

These Tilda's are just three more of the stamps in the Special Halloween/Autumn Bundle at Magnolia-licious.  I used three of the fall ones on my last post.  Diana at Magnolia-licious has this and also a Christmas Bundle at a great deal!  She carries a huge selection of Magnolia plus lots of other great products!

The baskets are made with four Stampin' Up! Bigz Scallop Envelope die cuts glued together on the sides.  I've added a handle strip, pattern paper, ribbon and some crinkled paper.  The Tilda's are colored with Promarkers and cut out with Spellbinder dies.

Autumn Wishes

Well fall is definitely here in our area.  Took a trip yesterday and enjoyed some of the spectacular yellows, oranges and red leaves.  The temp was even in the 80's and the sun shining brightly, so was a perfect day for a drive.

I made this card with three of the stamps that Diana at Magnolia-licious has in her Special Bundle of Mini Halloween and Autumn images!!!  The 559 Fall Background, 468 Trees in a Row and 3086 Tilda in Autumn Leaves.  Some of my favorites!!!!  Check out the fantastic price and see what all you will get in this bundle HERE.  Or you can still get the stamps individually too!  I've also added the 742 Mini Autumn Wishes.

The binders are wonderful to keep all these mini stamps in.  So easy to page through and see what you have.  Another terrific deal on those HERE!
I've colored with the Promarkers and layered with Spellbinders dies and added EK punch borders.

Stay tuned because tomorrow the design team has some fantastic Halloween ideas for the October Challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites.  I've used three more of the stamps from the Special Bundle!

Thanks for stopping by and I truly enjoy your feedback!!!
Enjoy every day!

Let Us Give Thanks Mother to Be!

EDITED:  I've added yet another version...check it out below!

I knew when this challenge came up, I had to find a "different" one to alter to cover two events or occasions.  We have a 2 for 1 challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites where we are to take one image and create two different themes.  If you came from Suzanne's blog, you are on the right trail and I'm sure she has shown you something extra-special.  If you came on your own, you can go to Suzanne's or to the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog to get the list and all the details how you can join in too!

The Tilda #245 Mother to Be stamp was rather fun to change from an expectant Mother congratulations card to a Thanksgiving card with Tilda carrying a pumpkin.  Did it make you giggle?  The thought of other than carrying a baby came about when I first colored the Mother to Be with a green dress and I was thinking watermelon!!!  Or maybe it is just me!!!  :)
I've used the pretty #245 Mother to Be image and colored her with Promarkers.  The dotted paper is Doodlebug which I embossed with a Tim Holz embossing folder and then sanded the embossing.   The word stamp is Hero arts and these are punched out with circle punches.  I've added some Spellbinder corners with some EK Success punched flowers and leaves.  Tilda has some pearl accents made from the Viva Pearl Pen.
Then I colored her again with the Promarkers and added some striped leggings and a long sleeve shirt!  In this neck of the woods, in most cases a short sleeve dress wouldn't be warm enough at Thanksgiving time.  I've added an Imagination verse for the banner, EK border punch on the edges of the Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I've tapped Versamark on the embossed part to make it stand out better and added some EK and Punch Bunch punched leaves for a fall look.  The little tendrils on the pumpkin are just wire that has been wrapped around a skewer for shaping.

Be sure to check out the fantastic specials and new items that Diana has over at Magnolia-licious!  She has terrific prices and extra special things for us along with their awesome service!!!  Stock up on the cuties in the Halloween/Fall mini bundle HERE at a great price!!!

You will enjoy the creativity of the rest of the team, so be sure to go to Mary Giemza's blog and see something very special.  She is so creative!!!   Hope you will join the challenge!

ADDITION:
Had to try one more!
Tilda and Edwin are both good bowlers!!!!  I googled bowling pins and bowling score forms on the internet to come up with my background paper and the pins.  Tilda is colored with Promarkers and cut out and popped up with foam tape.

Would love to see what you can create, please join the challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites!  Diana has a Magnolia-licious Special Surprise for a lucky winner and you know she always gives wonderful prizes!!!
Enjoy every day!

Tilda Wall Art

Wow, September already!!!  What happened to July let alone August!  Well that fun gal Cabio has come up with Anything But a Card for this month's challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites!  So I decided I would make something to put on the wall.  Sorry, was hard to get a good picture but I think you'll get the idea!  I make cards and give them away, so this way I can keep these little cuties to enjoy myself!!!

I think Jam Tilda was one of my first Maggies and still a favorite!  Also used some of my very favorite DooHickey Dies too!  You can find lots of these goodies at Magnolia-licious or click on one of these links:
293 TILDA WITH SMALL GIFT
384 JAM TILDA
SO SPOOKY TILDA  (removed broom)
DH 68 CLOVER WITH FLOWER DIES
DH 26 HEART SWIRL DIE
DH 34 WILD STAWBERRY AND FLOWERS DIES
DH 22 VINTAGE FLOWERS AND LEAVES DIES
DH 36 VINTAGE DAISIES DIES
Tilda has been stamped on water color paper with Staz-On black ink and water colored with Distress Inks.  A white accent pen has been used and the background ovals are cut with a Sizzix die and Spellbinder die.  Another one of those things I've had for a while and decided it was about time to use!!!
Be sure to check out the specials Diana has going over at Magnolia-licious!  She has put together a wonderful bundle of Halloween/Autumn minis together at a great deal!!!  Perfect for us Fall season and also mini lovers!  If you haven't tried the minis, this is also a great way to get a nice selection to try out!!!  Also she offers store credit on your orders plus free shipping at $75.00 or more for US and $150 or more for Canada!!!
Hope you will join in on the challenge.  Might be a good time to get started on something for gifts!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy every day!!!

Did You Moose Me???

Walter the Moose is here in the mini along with the mini hiking background and hiking Edwin!!!  Have to say darn cute and fun images to work with!!!

This latest Autumn Leaves collection has some of the best images in both the regular and the mini size.  You can find this collection plus a vast collection of Magnolia stamps and dies at Magnolia-licious!  Plus some of my other favorite dies too!!!

In case you didn't realize, Magnolia-licious also offers a customer store credit and FREE shipping for US customers for orders of $75 and more and FREE for Canadian orders of $150.00 and more.

Right now Diana has the new Mini Autumn Leaves collection in combinations for a great price!!!

So this is what I used on my card:
MINI 440 WALTER THE MOOSE
MINI 519 HIKING BACKGROUND
MINI 318 HIKING EDWIN

Water colored with Distress Inks and added some eyelets and twine.  Can't see it very well in the photo, but also used my Scor-Buddy to add a double lined frame around the edge too!  Just noticed Diana is having a terrific deal on a bundle with the Scor-Buddy.  Check it out HERE!
Ordinarily I use just a water color card stock with the distress inks, but this time I stamped Walter on Kraft card stock with Stazon-On black ink.  The distress inks surprisingly flow nicely on this too!  I thought it would soak in too fast, but it didn't!

So wanting to use Walter on more cards, I was hoping I could get a little help for some verses to do with "moose", like my title, Did You Moose Me?  If you can you think of anything, please leave a note on the comments by September 4th.  Not required, but would love to have you as a follower too.  I'll randomly pick one of the comments for a prize of the "Moosed" Wonderful Glitter Clean Up Cloth from Diana at Magnolia-licious!  These things are awesome to clean up your work area of little moose droppings like glitter, embossing powder and flocking!!!  :)

Enjoy every day!

Back 2 School Days

Yes, fall is coming and time to go back to school!  How about a gift or treat for the new teacher???  If you are following along on our Magnolia-licious Highlites blog hop, that is our theme this month!

So if you have come from that sweet and creative Janiel's blog, you are sitting in the right seat on the bus.  If you arrived on your own, you will want to go HERE to start from the beginning to enjoy the whole ride to the school of ideas from all the Design Team members.
My project started with an adorable chalkboard pin with dangling charms that I found.  I just knew I had to do something with it, so I made a box top with the chalkboard theme to put on the cover of the box that will hold the pin.

From Magnolia-licious, I used:
252 EDITOR TILDA
540 SWEDISH CHAIR

Of course, I used my trusty Scor-Pal to create my box.  Have you checked out the new Scor-Pal book yet?  Lots of fun projects and it has the best tips and ideas on how to get the most use out of your Scor-Pal!  HERE is a link.  I even have a little project in the book!!!
Coloring on this project is water color with the distress inks.  Just had to incorporate those books I used in the last posting to add to my little scene in the schoolroom.  Found some ribbon that was marked like a ruler and created the chalkboard frame with some brown distress inks and a crackle stamp.

Don't forget to swing on by Magnolia-licious to see all the terrific offerings by our Dear Diana!!!  She has found some fun things for us and has such great specials.  Click HERE to go right to the specials!!!

Now be sure to get back on the bus and head over to that cutie and fun gal Ruby to see the awesome project she has created!  We hope you will join us in the challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites.

Enjoy every day!  Appreciate you stopping by and ALWAYS enjoy your comments....Thank You!!!!

Time for the Books!

At Magnolia-licious Highlites, Diana has given the challenge of something related to Autumn Splendor.  I used a couple of of the new gals from the Turning Leaves collection and figured they were perfect for a school theme.  So hard to decide which ones to use since there are so many adorable images!!!  Guess I always loved fall, not just because of the colors, but also because I loved going to school!

Here are the links:252 EDITOR TILDA
540 SWEDISH CHAIR
55 ROUND TALK/THOUGHT BUBBLE DOOHICKEY DIE
Of course, I like the look of 3D, so cut out Tilda and the chair and popped them up along with some books and the apple.  Images are colored with Distress Inks.

First time I used the talk bubble and I think that is going to be great to have on hand.  What a fun thing to add to a card.  Also used a Hero Arts verse and an EK Success corner punch.

While I had the matching things out, I made another card using:

329 AUTUMN TILDA WITH PENCILS
55 ROUND TALK/THOUGHT BUBBLE DOOHICKEY DIE
Now the background paper with the books on it is from an old package of 8 1/2 x 11 computer paper.  Never did use it to print on from the computer, but it has been a fun paper to use on some cards and for scrapbooking. This is what it looked like before I cut it apart.
Click on the names of the images or dies above or you can find the whole new collection HERE for the regular size Magnolia stamps.  And HERE for the mini stamps for this collection.

Diana at Magnolia-licious has the best selection of Magnolia stamps, both regular and mini and has come up with some awesome discounts for us!  She has made up some combos with the new minis at fantastic prices!!!  She also offers a store credit for your purchases too!  Right now there is a giveaway price for the mini sentiments at only $2.99 each!!!  All this and in addition great customer service and really nice people!!!!

Hope you will join us at Magnolia-licious Highlites for the challenge of a project Fall/Autumn themed using at least one Magnolia image.  Diana has yet another generous prize for those entering!!!

A note of thanks to all those that have left comments and stop by regularly.  It means so much and I appreciate it!!!

Enjoy every day!

Hiking Edwin Journal

This new Hiking Edwin and the Background were a couple of favorites out of this collection.  Plus there were acorns and leaves to go with them and I could use some fall colors!!!
Decided to make a little journal instead of a card this time.
Can't possibly have everything flat, so I did cut out the leaves and acorns and layered them.  I crunched the leaves up a little to give a little shape. Water colored with Distress Inks which was so fun!!!  The embossing folder is Stampin' Up!, added some jute twine and a little white gel pen for accents.

These are Magnolia stamps from the new Turning Leaves Collection and you can find them at Diana's Magnolia-licious!  Edwin and the Background are also available in the mini version.  Be sure and check out all the great buys and offers Diana has for all of us!!!

Here are the links to the stamps I used:
112 HIKING EDWIN
444 AUTUMN OAK LEAF AND ACORN
He is quite the handsome lad isn't he???!!!

Appreciate the visit and thanks for stopping by!!!  I'm thinking I want to work on those darling sewing Tilda's next!!!

Enjoy every day!!!
