Did You Moose Me???

Walter the Moose is here in the mini along with the mini hiking background and hiking Edwin!!!  Have to say darn cute and fun images to work with!!!

This latest Autumn Leaves collection has some of the best images in both the regular and the mini size.  You can find this collection plus a vast collection of Magnolia stamps and dies at Magnolia-licious!  Plus some of my other favorite dies too!!!

In case you didn't realize, Magnolia-licious also offers a customer store credit and FREE shipping for US customers for orders of $75 and more and FREE for Canadian orders of $150.00 and more.

Right now Diana has the new Mini Autumn Leaves collection in combinations for a great price!!!

So this is what I used on my card:
MINI 440 WALTER THE MOOSE
MINI 519 HIKING BACKGROUND
MINI 318 HIKING EDWIN

Water colored with Distress Inks and added some eyelets and twine.  Can't see it very well in the photo, but also used my Scor-Buddy to add a double lined frame around the edge too!  Just noticed Diana is having a terrific deal on a bundle with the Scor-Buddy.  Check it out HERE!
Ordinarily I use just a water color card stock with the distress inks, but this time I stamped Walter on Kraft card stock with Stazon-On black ink.  The distress inks surprisingly flow nicely on this too!  I thought it would soak in too fast, but it didn't!

So wanting to use Walter on more cards, I was hoping I could get a little help for some verses to do with "moose", like my title, Did You Moose Me?  If you can you think of anything, please leave a note on the comments by September 4th.  Not required, but would love to have you as a follower too.  I'll randomly pick one of the comments for a prize of the "Moosed" Wonderful Glitter Clean Up Cloth from Diana at Magnolia-licious!  These things are awesome to clean up your work area of little moose droppings like glitter, embossing powder and flocking!!!  :)

Enjoy every day!

Back 2 School Days

Yes, fall is coming and time to go back to school!  How about a gift or treat for the new teacher???  If you are following along on our Magnolia-licious Highlites blog hop, that is our theme this month!

So if you have come from that sweet and creative Janiel's blog, you are sitting in the right seat on the bus.  If you arrived on your own, you will want to go HERE to start from the beginning to enjoy the whole ride to the school of ideas from all the Design Team members.
My project started with an adorable chalkboard pin with dangling charms that I found.  I just knew I had to do something with it, so I made a box top with the chalkboard theme to put on the cover of the box that will hold the pin.

From Magnolia-licious, I used:
252 EDITOR TILDA
540 SWEDISH CHAIR

Of course, I used my trusty Scor-Pal to create my box.  Have you checked out the new Scor-Pal book yet?  Lots of fun projects and it has the best tips and ideas on how to get the most use out of your Scor-Pal!  HERE is a link.  I even have a little project in the book!!!
Coloring on this project is water color with the distress inks.  Just had to incorporate those books I used in the last posting to add to my little scene in the schoolroom.  Found some ribbon that was marked like a ruler and created the chalkboard frame with some brown distress inks and a crackle stamp.

Don't forget to swing on by Magnolia-licious to see all the terrific offerings by our Dear Diana!!!  She has found some fun things for us and has such great specials.  Click HERE to go right to the specials!!!

Now be sure to get back on the bus and head over to that cutie and fun gal Ruby to see the awesome project she has created!  We hope you will join us in the challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites.

Enjoy every day!  Appreciate you stopping by and ALWAYS enjoy your comments....Thank You!!!!

Time for the Books!

At Magnolia-licious Highlites, Diana has given the challenge of something related to Autumn Splendor.  I used a couple of of the new gals from the Turning Leaves collection and figured they were perfect for a school theme.  So hard to decide which ones to use since there are so many adorable images!!!  Guess I always loved fall, not just because of the colors, but also because I loved going to school!

Here are the links:252 EDITOR TILDA
540 SWEDISH CHAIR
55 ROUND TALK/THOUGHT BUBBLE DOOHICKEY DIE
Of course, I like the look of 3D, so cut out Tilda and the chair and popped them up along with some books and the apple.  Images are colored with Distress Inks.

First time I used the talk bubble and I think that is going to be great to have on hand.  What a fun thing to add to a card.  Also used a Hero Arts verse and an EK Success corner punch.

While I had the matching things out, I made another card using:

329 AUTUMN TILDA WITH PENCILS
55 ROUND TALK/THOUGHT BUBBLE DOOHICKEY DIE
Now the background paper with the books on it is from an old package of 8 1/2 x 11 computer paper.  Never did use it to print on from the computer, but it has been a fun paper to use on some cards and for scrapbooking. This is what it looked like before I cut it apart.
Click on the names of the images or dies above or you can find the whole new collection HERE for the regular size Magnolia stamps.  And HERE for the mini stamps for this collection.

Diana at Magnolia-licious has the best selection of Magnolia stamps, both regular and mini and has come up with some awesome discounts for us!  She has made up some combos with the new minis at fantastic prices!!!  She also offers a store credit for your purchases too!  Right now there is a giveaway price for the mini sentiments at only $2.99 each!!!  All this and in addition great customer service and really nice people!!!!

Hope you will join us at Magnolia-licious Highlites for the challenge of a project Fall/Autumn themed using at least one Magnolia image.  Diana has yet another generous prize for those entering!!!

A note of thanks to all those that have left comments and stop by regularly.  It means so much and I appreciate it!!!

Enjoy every day!
