Luscious Lace Wedding Card

Great theme to work with the pretty lace borders and doily flowers and dragonflies along with a new image from the Special Moments Collection.  Always nice to have a wedding card on hand and this is such an adorable image and really takes no time coloring!

Over at the Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge Blog, we have the Luscious Lace Challenge!  You can use a Magnolia image or even a Wee Stamps image.  Check out all the details HERE!  You'll find the info to join us and also the fabulous creations of Team A.  And the fabulous creations of Team B is HERE!

These wonderful products from that Sweet Lady Diana at Magnolia-licious:
3043 VINTAGE BRIDAL COUPLE
34 DH WILD STRAWBERRY AND FLOWERS - Small Flower and Leaves
9 DH DRAGONFLIES
36 DH CHRISTMAS LACE DIE
8 DH DOILY FLOWERS DIE

HERE is a link to lots of other wonderful Dies!  Click on the category on the left!
The coloring is done with Promarkers and I've used Spellbinders circle dies along with a piece of Stampin' Up Paper.  The card stock is Sahara Sand and white.  Pearls and white gel pen were added for accents.

I hope you will join us in the challenge.  We tend to love using laces on the cards and with so many great lacy dies, it is hard to decide on which ones to use!!!

Enjoy every day and thanks for stopping by!!!

Lacy Flowers for the Wedding

Hope you are enjoying the Magnolia-licious Highlites Hop for June with a Wedding theme.  Haven't they been awesome projects!!!!  If you are following along the hop, you would have come from Barb Hardeman's Stampelicious blog.  Don't ya just love her candle!!!
I have this card made with all the wonderful Magnolia DooHickey dies that I love from Magnolia-licious.  My favorite online store for the best prices and selections of all things Magnolia and more!  Really nice people too!!!  Dies happen to be my latest, well one of my latest addictions lately and Diana is carrying some other fantastic dies like Poppystamps and Memory Box too!
Here are the wonderful DooHickey Dies and the links:
I see a couple of the dies are out of stock at the moment, but there are many to choose from that will work just as well or even better!
Found this lovely little gift box in my stash from a long time ago.  Don't even remember where I got it.  Frank's Nursery and Crafts????  They are long gone!  Figured it was about time I used it and it just cried out for flowers on top of it!
I've run the Peony Petals thru the Cuttlebug with the dotted embossing folder.  Used a Cheery Lynn lattice die in the background and did a little coloring with Promarkers on the flowers, leaves and butterfly.  The word stamp is an old Stampendous stamp.  Added a few half pearls.  Can't see any Tilda's or Edwins on the outside, but maybe, just maybe they are hiding inside!!!  :)

You will want to head over to Ruby Montes, And That's All She Wrote blog.  Now she knows how to put some color into things!!!!  Truly amazing work!!!
Hope you will join the challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites.  That generous Diana has offered another terrific prize!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy every day!!!

October Wedding Card and Box

Decided to make a rose and add some lilies with the same Ice Silver paper the bride used for her wedding invitations and such.  She also used a beautiful glittered yellow paper, so I added a few filler flowers made out of that paper in the arrangement.
The Spellbinders dies make it so easy to make a card look elegant.  I've used the scalloped edge frame and embossed the center piece with the Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder for both the card outside, inside and the top of the box.  Also used the Spellbinder hearts for the accent piece and the Label 3 die for the top of the box words.
Used the following Punch Bunch punches:  The pear punch for the rose, the lilium feathers punch for the lilies, the birch leaf for the rose leaves, the deco flake for the filler flowers and the McGill branch for the ferns.  The stamens in the lilies are pre-made from the craft store.
Used the Stampin' Up! slot punch on the sides of the box, so I could put the ribbon on the top part of the box so the cover can be removed without untying the ribbon.
Enjoyed making this card and it was an absolutely gorgeous day for the wedding!

Thanks for stopping by and take time to enjoy every day!!!
