Faux Patina Field Flowers

Great technique posted at Splitcoast for doing Faux Patina.  Loved this technique and the directions are easy to follow.  Fun to do for one card, but did them for a swap and made eleven!   Lots of sponging!!!

HERE is the link to the directions and followed them with all the same colors, except used Very Vanilla card stock instead of white.  Used the Field Flowers and the Tiny Tags stamp sets along with the Jewlery Tag punch.  Inked the seam binding with the Marina Mist ink for my ribbon and tied the tag on with the linen thread.

Enjoy every day!

Flowery Get Well Easel Card

Love making these shaped easel cards, so here is another one.  Some more fun for another card swap I'm doing with my favorite Demonstrator friends!!!   The Labels die collection, Perfectly Penned word stamp, Embosslit Beautiful Wings, Blossom Party die, Itty Bitty Shapes punch, Snow Burst embossing folder are all Stampin' Up! products I used.  Card stock is Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Old Olive and So Saffron.  Stampin' Up! copyright and all that jazz!!!
I've added some photos of the basic shaping of this flower.  Didn't even use my usual floral punch craft tools for this one.
Cut in between the petals and using your fingers just pinch each petal in half.
Cut out the same flower in green and cut apart so there are two petals together.  Pinch the petal in half on these two.
Cut the petals in half on this flower.  Layer all the flower pieces as shown on the card using two layers of the Vanilla Flower, one of the basic black flower and one of the center flower.  Easy to do!

In a couple of weeks, I'll be heading to CHA in LA to work with that Nice Lady Diana from Magnolia-licious and some of the great gals on the Design Team.  I am so excited to be able to participate and be with all of them.  An honor to be sure!!!  It is like a dream to be able to meet up with my internet friends.  So I hope anyone that has stopped by my blog, if you are coming to CHA be sure to stop by the Magnolia-licious Mini-World Booth and say HI!!!  It will be right next to the Scor-Pal booth so you can check out some of my favorite products Diana has there too.

As always, thanks for stopping by and always appreciate any comments!
Enjoy every day!

Blossom Stamps and Punch Easel Card

Great Stampin' Up! Blossom stamp set to go along with the new punch.  Also used the new Labels collection dies!  I did this card for a swap and also used the Butterfly Wings Embosslit Die and the Elegant Lines and Designer Frames embossing folders.  The word stamp is from SU Perfect Punches set.  Second layer of the flower is from the Fresh Vintage stamp set that will be out January 24th for Sale-a-bration.

Stamped in white pigment ink and added white gel pen for accents.  Card stock used is Very Vanilla, So Saffron and Elegant Eggplant.
Used a stylus to hand emboss around the edge of the smaller die to get the embossing on the background Elegant Eggplant piece of card stock.

Suppose I need to say something about all rights reserved Copyright Stampin' Up, you know what I mean!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!  Enjoy every day!

Vintage Vogue Friends

Love the richness of the deep red color of the Cherry Cobbler card stock.   I've used it with the Basic Gray and Confetti White cardstock.

The stamps are the Vintage Vogue set and coordinating Very Vintage jumbo wheel.  Used the Scallop Trim Corner punch.   The butterfly is The Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die.  All above products by Stampin' Up!  Flowers and leaves are made with the discontinued Trio Flower and 1/8" circle punches.

Made this a center fold card.  Center fold cards are so easy to make using the Scor-Pal.

Enjoy every day!!!

Lovely as a Tree Border

Saw a card on SCS that Heather T had made and just loved it!  This will make a great guy card for any occasion.  Added a couple of things and guess used less colors than she did.  Thanks for the inspiration Heather.

All Stampin' Up! supplies used were:
Lovely as a Tree Stamp
Teeny Tiny wishes
Very Vanilla card stock
Always Artichoke card stock- scrap
Lattice Embossing Folder
Early Expresso Ink Pad
Marina Mist Ink Pad
Always Artichoke Ink Pad
Modern Label Punch
Word Window Punch
2-Way Glue Pen
Stamping Sponges
Dimensionals

Made two "post-it" note type masks using the 2-way glue.  Let dry before using.

Embossed the edge with the folder.
Stamped the trees in Early Espresso.  Masked top and bottom edges of the tree border and stamped the trees again after stamping off twice.  Sponged Marina Mist at the top edge and Always Artichoke at the bottom edge.

Stamp the words on Very Vanilla scrap, punch out and add to a punched out Modern Label piece in Always Artichoke.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Enjoy every day!!!

Here is an easy card using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots and Victoria embossing folders, the SU eyelet border punch and a SU stamp set called God's Beauty.  Colored with SU markers.  Butterfly cut out and popped up.  Ruffles around the circle  made by crimping a strip of the border.
