A new challenge with a great new combined Design Team for Magnolia-licious! Sure is an honor to be working with all these talented gals!!! Our first challenge is using a Magnolia Stamp and make a birthday card! Who doesn't need birthday cards!!! Diana is now carrying Wee Stamps and I can't wait to get started on those too! You'll want to check them out because she is offering a limited time discount on them.
For this card, I got to use some of the new Memory Box dies! What a wonderful assortment of those and other dies....can't get enough of them!!! My addiction for punches has transferred over to dies now!!!! :) Check them all out HERE!
Here is what I've used from Magnolia-licious on my card:
210 TILDA WITH CUTE SKIRT
MB 11 CHESAPEAKE CIRCLE DIE
MB 200 FRESH FOLIAGE DIE
MB 207 FABULOUS PHLOX DIE
These dies cut beautifully even with the fine lines. A Quickie Glue Pen works great for gluing the die cuts with the fine lines. Since it is a two-way glue, I let it dry some before trying to adhere, so it doesn't smear. I only used two sizes of the phlox flowers on this card. There are actually 3 sizes in the set along with some leafy branches too. Another die I am anxious to work with more is the MB 206 LOVELY ASTER DIES (6 pieces). They make a gorgeous flower, so stay tuned!
Speaking of flowers, I used the Best Glue Ever to assemble my flowers now and love it! All it takes is a teeny amount and it dries quickly. Also will not warp the paper if you like to glue your card layers together.
The Chesapeake Circle die cut is backed by round circles and Tilda is water colored with Distress Inks. The paper was from my stash that I bought a while ago.
Diana offers great deals and a wonderful assortment of products! You can see all of the specials HERE at Magnolia-licious. Great products, great service and really nice people to work with besides!!!
Please join us in the challenge! You will find all the details at the Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge Blog. You can join and have a chance to win a great surprise from Diana too! She is always soooo generous!!!
So glad you could stop by! Enjoy every day!
