Flippin' Birthday Card

Haven't made one of these for years, so it was fun to try one again.  Beate at Splitcoast has a terrific tutorial for the Swing or Flip Flop card on how to make these.  I've adjusted mine just a bit, but it was only to make the width of the rectangle in the middle smaller.

Today is a new Magnolia-licious Highlites challenge and that talented teammate Sharon has come up with a great challenge of "Move-n-Groove---have something on your project that moves, pulls, pops or opens in some way".
I've used a couple of cutie minis from Diana at Magnolia-licious along with some DooHickey dies for the flower arrangements:
MINI 241 DANCING PARTY TILDA
MINI 310 HAPPY SPRING TILDA
4 LEAF AND SWIRL DOOHICKEY DIE
7 OLD SWEDISH LACE DOOHICKEY DIE
15  POINSETTIA FLOWERS DOOHICKEY DIE
22 VINTAGE FLOWERS AND LEAVES DOOHICKEY DIES-Flowers
34 WILD STRAWBERRY AND FLOWERS DOOHICKEY DIES-Flower
26 MARIETTA BUCKLE MEMORY BOX DIE
MINI SWEET RAINBOW PAPER PACK

The MINI BUTTERFLY DREAMS PAPER PACK would be a great one to use for this too!  These small prints are perfect for our cards.

The border strips really are leftovers from the Old Swedish Lace die. These pieces left such a nice inverted scallop, I figured I had to use them!
The edges of the paper I have added some white acrylic paint.  Have also used EK Success circle,  Punch Bunch sun and MS branch punches with the flowers.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up!.  The images are colored with Touch and Promarkers.
Don't these images make you smile and feel happy!!!  Please join us in this fun challenge and make a movin' and groovin' project of your own.  The best place to shop and find all your Magnolia products plus lots of extra fun things is at Magnolia-licious!  Find all the details for this month's challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites.

Enjoy every day!

Another gorgeous card with more gorgeous flowers! Perfect choice of Tildas to go with the theme too. I took a peak back through your older posts and I wish I lived a little closer so I could take some of your floral classes - you have such incredible talent!

Patti Jo, love that flip card. It is so fun. Just by looking at this card, I really feel like opening & closing it back and forth to see it's flipping, lol. Cute images and the smaller flowers fit so well with the darling colored images :o)
