Magnolia Mini World Binder Blog Hop

Can we say "a little carried away"????  :)  Well I had fun and got to use some things I hadn't yet.  Always makes me feel better when something finally gets used.  I've wanted to do some sewing lately too, so this will have to do till I can get to the fabric!!!

Of course, I love the minis and now we have a perfect way to store them to keep them safe and easy for us to find!  If you have come from Cheryl Rowley's creative blog, you have come to the right hop on the list.  If you came on your own, you can go to Magnolia-licious Highlites to get the list order and start from the beginning for the Design Teams blogs.
I was a little concerned about covering up the pretty logo that comes on the binders, but I will use this one for my index and first album and then will leave the others alone!!!  They really are beautiful the way they come, but you know us crafters always have to try a little altering!  I wanted to try some sewing on paper again, so thought it would be a good time to make a quilted background with the Magnolia papers--mini version!  Love these papers!!!  The print is perfect for card making as well as other things! I used my trusty Scor-Pal to help line up the squares that I cut approximately 2" x 2".  I taped the squares together then layered a solid backing on it when I stitched the lines.  Was really quite easy to do!
Using a mask, I made a partial image and stamped the minis on ovals then colored with distress inks.  Layered these on the Magnolia Dream Tags for my little portraits.  Added some flowers and butterflies and the words are cut out with a couple of Sizzix letter sets.  The sides are edged with the Magnolia Antique Lace Border.
The binders are an exclusive, custom-made by Diana at Magnolia-licious!  She really planned these out nicely.  A place for every little cutie that we get!  For those of us with poor memories, it's nice to have a place to jot down what collection it is from too!
Here are the links to the following products at Magnolia-licious where you will find a fantastic selection and great service with the nicest people:
#4 DOOHICKEY DIE SWIRL#18 DOOHICKEY DIE ROSE LEAF
#36 DOOHICKEY DIE VINTAGE DAISIES
I’ve also used a Spellbinders Oval die and Sizzix Sizzlet dies for the letters.  Still need a little practice, but the pearls are made with the Pearl Pen from Viva Decor.

Now you will want to hop on over to Angie Hunt's blog to see the fabulous creation she has made!  I already took a peek at it and you won't want to miss hers or any of the Design Team's creativity!!!

Please join us and take the challenge to alter your own binder, scrapbooks, notebooks, etc.  You will have a chance to win one of the fantastic binders and also two mini stamps of your choice!  That  Diana...she is soooo generous!!!  All the details are HERE at Magnolia-licious Highlites.

Thanks for stopping by and again always appreciate the comments!  Makes my day and warms my heart!!!!  Enjoy Every Day!!!
