You Make Me Smile

When you make a card, do you have lots of extra pieces that you don't use?  When I was doing the last Magnolia-licious Highlites challenge, I had this idea for a card and when I put it all together, it was waaaaay toooo much stuff!!!  So ripped it apart (something I do often!!!)  and used the pieces to create two cards instead.  The one card I used for the challenge, but thought I would post this one too.

Loved the challenge that Diana came up with to do the Black and White with Pop and first thought was to use red or pink, but wanted to go with something different and used teal.  Of course, I am such a fan of dies, so used a variety of these here.  All things Magnolia are HERE at Magnolia-licious.

#18 ROSE LEAF DOOHICKEY DIE
#20 ROMANTIC LACE BORDER DOOHICKEY DIE
#22 VINTAGE FLOWERS AND LEAVES DOOHICKEY DIE
#4 LEAF AND SWIRL DOOHICKEY DIES
#9 DRAGONFLIES DOOHICKEY DIES
#8 DOILY FLOWERS DOOHICKEY DIES
MINI #3088 LYING TILDA

Some of the dies are on reorder but HERE is a direct link to all the dies.
The lacy doily is a Cheery Lynn die.  The stamps are JustRite, corner punch is Creative Memories, Spellbinders dies, background paper is Stampin' Up! and some cabochon stones for bling.
This new Sweet Rainbow Collection has so many adorable images.  This is the mini version that is just the right size to add for a little cuteness!!!  Lying Tilda is colored with alcohol markers.

Enjoy every day!

Oh my! this is striking Patti Jo.
It must look beautiful in real life. I love the way you have used the dies together. the inside looks gorgeous with lying Tilda. You colored her beautifully. I am really starting to like those mini's. She is really cute. I love that she is 'lying' on the Romantic lace border.
Love that border and must invest in it.

Patti Jo, this is a fabulous card. And to think that you made it with ‘leftovers’ your previous card. Maybe I should do that do. Make more than enough purposely, then it’s like making 2 cards at the same time. !Light bulb! Oh, that would work great when making Christmas cards. Oh thanks for the inspiration. Now back to commenting on your card..LOL. Beautifully put together. Love your design. Those Magnolia doohickey shapes are gorgeous, but I don’t have even half of what you have there. I ordered the lacy doily die—or something similar—but my shipment is stuck in some post office depot somewhere. Drat this postal strike!!!
Love the addition of the mini Tilda in the inside of your card. Love this imge.
Hugs,
Norma

This card is so striking and I love that pop with the turquoise! I can't believe you used some "leftovers" from the previous card? I should consider this. Just die-cut or punch more than I need and make another card! I think this turned out very elegant!
