Martha is Looking for Sweet Treats

Aren't Halloween and Fall projects fun to make???!!!!  If you are following along on the Magnolia-licious Highlites Bats and Broomsticks Blog Hop and came from Suzanne's wonderful blog, you have made it to the very end.  If you stopped by on your own, you will want to start at the beginning because you won't want to miss the fabulous creations of the Design Team from Magnolia-licious.  You can find the blog hop list here.

Well Martha isn't our normal sweet Tilda, but I got this adorable Goblin Martha from Diana at Magnolia-licious and thought she really would fit in well for a Halloween card.

Supplies:
#807 Goblin Martha
Papers from Stash (Cloud 9 and Reminisce)
Distress Inks for coloring:  Tattered Rose, Dusty Concord, Peeled Paint, Brushed Corduroy, Vintage Photo, Pumice Stone
Bat Punch
Drippy Goo Punch from Martha Stewart
Black Pearlies
Ribbon
White Gel Pen, Stardust Pen
Glossy Accents

Water colored Martha with Distress Inks, cut her out and popped her up with foam tape.  Punched out the ghost circles from some patterned paper and made Martha's treat bag out of scraps.  Used Glossy accents on one of the houses on the paper and on the drippy goo borders.  Added some punched bats, black dewdrop like things and used the white gel pen and stardust pen for some extra jazz!
So Martha did find some Sweet Treats in the poppers!!!  Sorry, don't have the pattern for these written up just yet, but I'll try to get it posted here eventually.

Now if you can help me, I also have  Sweet Goblin William!!!  You can check him out here.  Love his mischievous toothy grin!   When I was going to start coloring him, I noticed he has something different.  He is holding a flower in one hand, but not quite sure if he is holding something in his other hand or if he has a tail!!!  What do you think????

Hope you enjoyed the hop and will play along with a Halloween or Fall themed project.  You'll also have a chance at winning something fun!  Details here at the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog

Thanks for stopping by and as always so appreciate any comments you are so kind enough to leave!

Enjoy every day!
Patti Jo

Didn't expect Martha...how fun she is. Love the details.

It could be a tail on William...or another flower?

Cute card! Your coloring is wonderful.

I would say that William has his tail in his other hand.

Your Martha is just perfect for Halloween. I love this easel card too. As for William - I think it is a dead flower - or one that was rejected by the girl of his dreams! :(

I love the characters in the Martha and William Collection. I just got a couple of them last week. Too cute! Your card is adorable! It just screams, "Party!" Love it and the treat "crackers," too! Great job!

Oh, I forgot to write what I think William is holding. I think it is a sunflower or other similar flower. If you look closely beyond the petals, you can see the puffy center that sunflowers have. At least, that's my take on it.

Chris

I think William is holding a flower in both hands.

Amazing easel card. One of the best developed inside (floor?) pages ever. Love the plaid and all the different panels. It's definitely a tail--his hand is above it, not holding at all.

Patti Jo, your card is just adorable. I haven't seen the goblin stamps before! They make great Halloween stamps though, I think you're right, William looks like he is holding his tail =) The little treats are cute and your coloring is awesome!

oh, she makes me think Pippi Longstocking! One year Heather (our oldest) dressed up like Pippi... we wired her braided pigtails so they went out straight from the sides of her head! So funny! Awesome cute-ness here Patti Jo! Love her face on the crackers. Adorably painted and just cute as can be!
