What a fun theme to have for this month's Magnolia-licious Blog Hop....Nautical!!! Perfect with the new Bon Voyage Stamps.You may have sailed here from Angie Hunt's wonderful blog, then you are right on track. Loved this porthole with the ship sailing and the curling waves! Adorable little pelican too!
Embossed the images and words in Silver Embossing Powder and colored with the Distress Inks. The background paper is Magnolia Blue Starlit from Once Upon a Time collection. So versatile. Sponged some Antique Linen and also some Broken China on the paper to tie in with the rest of the scene. Added some mesh and silver cording along with using Silver Mirror Cardstock. Highlighted the ship and waves with Crystal Lacquer and used a Glaze White Pen for the clouds and wave crests. Of course, need that 3D look, so pieces are popped up with foam tape.
