Yeah!!!! Summer...nice to finally have it here! If you have come from Chrissy Christensen you are skipping along the right direction. How cute was her Summer Fun Bucket!!!! Great idea!!! If you have come on your own, you will want to start at the beginning so you don't miss any of the fabulous creations from the terrific Design Team of Magnolia-licious. The order is listed HERE at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.
I've created a Fourth of July decoration using some of the fun dies and a cutie Tilda to perch on the edge! You can find these and other great things at Magnolia-licious!!! Here are the links for the things I used:
317 VIRGO TILDA
DH 43 STAR TAG DIE
DH 69 TEA LABEL SHAPES - STAR DIE
DH 14 TRIPLE TAGS DIE
DH 25 GRASS DIE
DH 19 MINI ZIGZAG AND SCALLOP DIE
This Tilda has something in her hand, but I removed it hoping I had a little American Flag to put in her hand, but couldn't find one at the time. Where I used the grass die might be a little hard to find, but I used blue card stock and it is at the base of the firecracker rockets. Love those multipurpose dies!!!
Have used skewers to adhere the stars and Tilda to stick inside the jar and also rolled paper around the skewers to make the firecracker rockets. The letters were from a Sizzlet Alphabet.
Hope you have found some inspiration along your travels through the Magnolia-licious Summer Theme Blog Hop! This is the last stop on the trip! If you've left comments on the blogs along the way, you will have a chance at a Surprise Prize from Diana of Magnolia-licious! Join in with your own Summer Project for another chance to win too! Another totally fabulous project Patty Jo! I don't know anyone who can create so many things out of just ordinary dies. The firecrackers are just a perfect example. With the 4th looming on the horizon, we're all looking for splendiferous ideas to create the theme! Awesome job!!!! Very inspirational!
