Valentine's Tilda with Wrapped Heart

Just a real quick posting, but since Valentine's Day is pretty soon and I thought I would make one with this cutie Tilda and the heartflowers.  They are colored with Promarkers and I used some paper from my stash.

Find these at Diana's awesome Magnolia-licious store:
3074 TILDA WITH WRAPPED HEART
MINI 545 TILDA'S HEARTFLOWERS

This heartflower stamp is the mini.  The regular size stamp is much larger.  Even though this is the mini, I thought it was a good size to go with the regular size Tilda.  Used an embossing folder in the background and have added a SU sentiment on the label punch and grosgrain ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy every day!!!

Sweetheart Treats

Wanted to make some simple little treat boxes for Valentine's Day!  I've used the cute folded Doohickey tag and the mini's are the perfect size for them.  Tilda is colored with Distress Inks and I've added flowers, a ribbon and a lacy background piece.

Find these and more at Magnolia-licious!
MINI 3025 TILDA WITH HEART CHAIN
MINI 255 ROSE SCENT TILDA
MINI 222 TILDA WITH APPLE
MINI 236 TILDA WITH COZY HEART
49 DH SO WRAPPED TILDA LACE FOLDED TAG
68 DH CLOVER WITH FLOWER DIES
71 DH POINSETTIA DIES

The tag is a folded tag and cuts out in one piece!  Can take the place of a card!   It seems I tend to use the Poinsettia dies for leaves more than making Poinsettia's.  The shape is one of my favorites for leaves and comes with two dies in different sizes.
An absolute must have tool, the Scor-Buddy works great for these boxes.  The paper dimensions to make this box are 6" x 5".  Start with the 6" side and score at 3/4", 2 3/4", 3 1/2" and 5 1/2".  Turn to do the 5" side and score at 3/4" and 4 1/4".  Make cuts as shown in the picture.  I used Scor-Tape to hold the box together!  Just a note, when I was helping people with the Make and Take at CHA, I was surprised to find out how many did not realize that you can just tear the Scor-Tape.  Besides the great holding power, that is another of it's great features!!!  Sorry, my picture didn't turn out the clearest, but I think you can get the idea!
Just noticed Diana has an extra special pricing on a Scor-Buddy bundle HERE.  You can get the Scor-Buddy, Scor-Mat  AND Scor-Tape at a great price!

The background doily is a Spellbinders and I've added some seam tape ribbon and silver cording.

Thanks for stopping by and thank you for all the encouraging comments!!!
Enjoy every day!

There is also a new button for Facebook Share and Get Paid?  Check out how you can share with your friends and also earn $$$ to help pay for your own purchases at Magnolia-licious.

On my project I also used a Spellbinders die for the hinges and oval, the doily is by Marianne, hearts a Punch Bunch corner punch, Cuttlebug embossing folder and cut the letters out in my Gazelle.  Coloring is done with Promarkers and Touch Markers.

Now you'll want to hop on over to Suzanne's Scrapbitz and see her awesome Love Project!

Vintage Shabby Chic Valentine Card

Time for a new challenge.... I tried something a little different doing the Vintage Shabby Chic.  Besides the tri-fold card with the removable heart, I made a little trinket or truffle box too!  Thinking perfect size for a couple of Lindt truffles!  Also got to use the new key DooHickey dies!!!

Check out Magnolia-licious Highlites for all the info on how you can join the challenge and there are also some beautiful examples from the other design team members.

With the markings already there, it is so easy to make a tri-fold card on the Scor-Buddy!  I added three different papers from the Mini Wedding Paper pack.  I edged some of the papers with the Picket Fence Distress Crackle Paint.  Fun stuff!!!  The keys and some of the mats are the gold mirror card stock.  Very hard to photograph, sometimes it looks black!  The Tilda's were water colored with Distress Inks and the flowers and leaves were sponged with Antique Linen and Bundled Sage distress inks

Here are the Magnolia things that I used from Magnolia-licious:
MINI 282 TILDA SENDING LOVE LETTERS
MINI 240 TILDA WITH WRAPPED HEART
7 OLD SWEDISH LACE DOOHICKEY DIE
#15  POINSETTIA FLOWERS DOOHICKEY DIE
22 VINTAGE FLOWERS AND LEAVES DOOHICKEY DIES-Leaves
24 DREAM TAG DOOHICKEY DIE
#26 HEART SWIRL
34 WILD STRAWBERRY AND FLOWERS DOOHICKEY DIES- Flower
34 VINTAGE KEYS DOOHICKEY DIES
MINI WEDDING COLLECTION PAPER PACK
On the inside, I made a pocket for the heart.  Also used some Spellbinders ovals, a stamp from the dollar bin at Michael's and some half pearls for the centers of the flowers.  The bows are seam tape and gold cording.
The little trinket box was revised from a pattern by Deb Felts.  Nice of her to share the pattern.
Be sure to check out Diana's Magnolia-licious for all your Magnolia needs and also many other terrific products too!  I am loving the No More Shims Mat for my stamp mat besides using it for embossing in the Cuttlebug.  And I use to get so frustrated with the old brown teflon mats curling up and moving around on me and the Stay Put Craft Mat does just that STAYS PUT!!!!  They are a nice large size and the edges don't curl up on you either!!!

Of course, I had used my trusty Scor-Buddy for making the easiest tri-fold card ever.

Hope you will join us for our Vintage Shabby Chic February Challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites.  It's not only fun to try something different, Diana is always so generous with prizes too!

Enjoy every day!
