Spring Card Box Bouquet

Time to prescribe a little Dr. Monday MD (Minis and Dies) cure for winter!  How about a little springtime!  The Mini Tilda's for the Lost and Found Collection are just the perfect ones to use to give us a little hope for spring!

I've made a Card Box so I could fit in some of the great dies and stamps from Magnolia-licious:

This card box is designed to collapse and lay flat.....IF you put flat things on it!  But of course, I don't do that!  I can't find my original instructions from way back, but Tina at Serenestamper.com has a very nice tutorial.

The Mini Tilda's are colored with Promarkers and I've used Cuttlebug embossing folders on the card stock on the flowers and some of the layering pieces.

Under the Tree Thinking of You

Wanted to try out this great Magnolia Doohickey Fruit Tree die.  I kept the card rather simple to focus on the tree and sweet Tilda sitting on the bench!  What a fun tree die with it's cute little cutout leaves that you can pop up and the second layer for even more dimension.  There are also dies for cherries, apples, pears and even flowers included with the tree!  Adorable die set with lots of variety!

Looking at the packaging of this tree does not do it justice.  Hard to tell what all it has included in this set.

On my card the background was light blue card stock and I sponged white pigment on it with a dauber and used a homemade cloud stencil I made.  Sweet Tilda is colored with Promarkers and I distressed the edges of the paper a little for something different.  The sentiment is an old stamp with no name on it.

Ha, probably can't guess, but I am quite the die addict!!!   Diana has soooo many great fun dies and she keeps adding new ones to the site.  You can check out the ones I used and find lots of others there too!  Take note of the special deals and store credit you will receive with your order.  Awesome online store!

Happy Valentine's Day

 

It is Dr. Monday MD.....Minis and Dies.  Time to start thinking of Valentine's Day!  I've wanted to use this Heart Ensemble die for a while, and thought these cuties from the latest Magnolia Lost and Found collection would fit well in the bigger heart.

I've cut the Magic Flourish into pieces....love spirals to add to the flowers!  This flower set has three sizes of petals plus two leaf dies....great set!!!  Hard to tell on the photo, but I cut the mirror out in silver mirror card and put some crystal lacquer on the perfume bottles.

Butterfly Border Card

Isn't this the prettiest border die!  And another one that we can use just for the butterflies and flowers!  I know there is lots of winter time left, but we can dream spring will be here soon can't we???!!!

I've cut out some extra butterflies and flowers and used them to make this more 3D looking.  Have also used the Scor-Buddy to make some accent lines in the background.  You can find that and other fun things HERE.

Tilda is colored with Promarkers and I've used some dots I made from the Viva Decor paper pens.  The Lace Circle Die is perfect for minis.

Another Winter Birthday Card

Wanted to make another Winter Birthday card with the new Snowflake tag and another cutie from the Winter Wonderland Collection.

You get a bonus with this snowflake tag set, you get an extra little tag and a snowflake too!  Love the shape of this snowflake and hmmmm thinking it might also make a great center on a flower!!!  Always looking for spikey/pokey things for the center of flowers.  The corners were cut from the scallop circle from the tags set.

The minis fit perfectly for these tags and so quick to color!  You can put a secret little message in the tag or you can just make a card front and have your sentiment inside the tag!

I've colored with Promarkers, used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background and added the pearls.  The double bow was made with the Bow-It-All that Diana carries at the Scor-Pal site.   Sure makes it easy to get a nice even bow of any size!!!  And it has a 20% discount right now!!!

Winter Birthday Card

Oh goody...new dies!!!!  Fun new tag dies at Magnolia-licious!  They are designed to use folded, but I've used one opened flat for the background behind the cute little mini Tilda!  These are the cutest tags to tuck behind the images and be able to pull out with an extra message.

There are a some new Doohickey tags with different themes like this one.  You can check them out HERE.  Also can't wait to try the new Memory Box dies that Diana has just put in the store too!  HERE they are!!!

The Swirls were cut up in pieces and work perfectly for those little added things we need for arrangements.  I also wanted a few more fern fronds to put in, so cut them off the tag to use individually.

Lots of Doilies

 Doilies!  What a great theme for a card making project.  Always need a kick start to decide where to begin!  The Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog has this for our projects this time.  You'll find Design Team inspiration and how you can join in too right HERE!!!

The Mini Doily and the Doily Flower fit the theme perfectly!!!  Love the size of the Mini Doily because it can be used on it's own or more than one on the A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") size card.

I've layered the doilies at different heights to give it more dimension.  The red background is embossed with an embossing folder.

Had the intentions of using these colors for a Christmas card, but see it really could be for Valentine's too!
