Now who isn't happy it is finally getting to some signs of spring! Tried a little experimenting and did some things I haven't done before. For our Spring Themed DT card for Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge Blog, I decided to try coloring with pencil on kraft card stock and delve into a tad bit of the mixed media. Didn't do much, have to take baby steps!!! Saw these tags and thought I would try one with our Maggies!
Most of the lovely and fun products I used are from Diana's Magnolia-licious Store:
250 TILDA WITH BUTTERFLY DRESS
553 CHICKEN WIRE
72 DH CUTE CORNER DIE
4 DH LEAF AND SWIRL DIE
17 DH SNOWFLAKE AND MISTLETOE DIE
29 DH SWIRLY BUTTERFLY DIE
36 DH CHRISTMAS LACE DIE
136 MB PARKER UPPER ALPHABET SET DIES
75 DH PEONIES DIES
68 DH CLOVER WITH FLOWER DOOHICKEY DIES
So many new dies, that I just loved! The cute corner die I used at the top of the tag....sooo pretty along with the Christmas lace border die down the left side. Definitely not only for Christmas. The Parker Upper alphabet is so easy to use and just the perfect size for us card makers. I know I'll make good use out of all of these! Stop by Diana's store and see all the great stamps and dies she has on hand and the terrific specials!
Please join us for this All About Spring challenge. Find all the details at Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge Blog.
Thanks so much for dropping by! Also for the wonderful comments you take time to leave!
Enjoy every day!

Easter Blog Hop---It's Not a Card!!!
I bet you've seen so many creative ideas on your way through the Easter Themed Magnolia-licious Blog Hop! If you've come from Janiel's Blog, you are hopping along the path!!! Wasn't her hat and purse just adorable and perfect for a little girl on Easter?!!! If you came on your own to my blog, I hope you will want to follow along and see all the other wonderful creations of the Design Team. Click HERE to go to the Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge Blog.
Years ago, I stamped on fabric with some inks designed for fabric stamping, but was not overly impressed with it. I wanted to try it again because I heard that the alcohol ink markers worked well on fabric! Well have to say, I had a lot of fun doing it. Takes some practice and I still need to practice some more, but here are my attempts.
I've used the lovely 363 TILDA AND HER BUNNY from my favorite internet store Magnolia-licious. She has been stamped on some muslin fabric. I put an iron-on interfacing on the back before I attached it to a little hand towel I made. Made the towel out of some fabric I had on hand, so not sure how well it will work for an actual towel, so think it is really for decoration. I also added some lace trims I had in my stash.
Well I sure had fun with this and also had a little purse/basket pattern I wanted to try making, so....
This bag can be a little egg shaped basket or can be made into a purse. With a closure on the top, it does make a darling little bag. Again I stamped Tilda on some muslin, this time it is SUMMER FLOWER TILDA. Sorry, she is out right now, but the mini is available HERE or any of our favorite Tilda's will do!!!
I've colored the Tilda's with ProMarkers and Spectrum Noir Pens. Just a couple of tips: color very lightly and do not color to the line. The ink wicks (bleeds) quite a bit depending on how wet the pens are. I still need some practice because I have some "halos" around some areas that I did not intend!!! The blender pen did help to clean up some, but it is better not to over ink. I tried a little bleach, and that did nothing. The images were stamped with a black Memento Ink, the same as I use on paper with alcohol based pens.
So maybe you've wanted to try stamping and coloring on fabric. You can find lots of fantastic deals on fun things at Diana's Magnolia-licious store!!! There are some wonderful new DooHickey dies and I also love the Wee Stamps she is now carrying! She is always adding new products and has great customer service!
Remember for each comment you leave on a DT gal's blog (1 comment per blog, per post) you get entered to win the Surprise Prize this week. It counts for your comments on all Mini Monday, Tuesday Challenge posts, and Wee Wednesday posts too...so lots of ways to get entered! Winners are announced each Wednesdays. All the details are HERE!

White Lacy Easter Card
The Magnolia-licious Design Team has made cards for our Easter theme over at the Magnolia-licious Challenge blog. I've been looking at so many pretty white on white cards, I decided to make my Easter card with all white! Hmmm, think I could get by with this for a wedding card too! Would have to change the inside though. Thought it was about time to get those lovely DooHickey dies out and create an arrangement!
Find all these wonderful dies and stamps at Magnolia-licious of course!
854 PS GRAND GOTHIC INTERSECTING ARCHES DIE
8 DH DOILY FLOWERS DIE
18 DH ROSE LEAF DIE
17 DH SNOWFLAKE AND MISTLETOE DIES
29 DH SWIRLY BUTTERFLY DIE
4 DH LEAF AND SWIRL DIE
31 DH MINI DOILY DIE
22 DH VINTAGE FLOWERS AND LEAVES DIES
3011 TILDA WITH HAT
24 DH DIE DREAM TAG
This arch window is the larger size, but it also comes in a smaller size HERE. Plus there are many other styles of arches and windows too HERE. They make great backgrounds!
Have found I love using the "Best Glue Ever" for my flowers. Takes just a tiny bit and gives a good quick stick!!!
Also I did use the Mini Tilda with Hat here, but put the link to the full size one above.
Had to add a touch of color with Little Tilda!!! White sure is hard to photograph!!!
Diana is running lots of specials, so be sure to check them out at Magnolia-licious! Wonderful place to shop and such nice people too!!! :) Hope you will join in on the challenge and make an Easter or Spring themed card. Details are at the Magnolia-licious Challenge blog.
Thanks for swinging by! Enjoy every day!

Just Because Stipple Blossoms
I was in a Shoebox swap and used the Stampin' Up Stippled Blossoms set. I have always loved those two step sets, but haven't used them for some time! Although not a two step set, I thought of a card I use to demo at workshops with the Definitely Decorative Wildflowers set (the one with the big watering can). That was many, many moons ago!!! Do you remember that one!!! One of my first and favorites! Anyway decided to make the card design similar to that one I use to do. People seemed to enjoy the free form cut edge along the image.
Needed a little something more on the inside, so also added another one of my favorites.... 3030 Mini Tilda with Big Ribbon from Magnolia-licious! Love the minis because they are the perfect size to add to things like this!
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy every day!!!

Wee Wittle Peggy
Today is Wee Wednesday day!!! A chance to use these adorable stamps from Diana at Magnolia-licious.
WEE 104 PEGGY
44 DH SWIRLY LACE BORDER DIE
Isn't she a cutie with her basket of flowers and pretty little bluebird?! I've colored her with Promarkers and layered on an embossed paper. The card is placed on a frame I made using the Swirly Lace Border Die. Have added an additional Wee bluebird along with wishing you a happy, happy day from Penny Black on the banner. Simple, but didn't want to overcrowd the sweet image.
I love the Magnolia stamps and dies, but it is really nice to add this Wee Stamp collection to the mix! Cuteness abounds that's for sure!
Don't know about anyone else, but many times I need to have some inspiration to get started with a project. Most times the ideas I start with are not any thing like what I end up with, but it gives me a jump start. Usually I've gone off onto another completely different direction!!! :) The Magnolia-licious Design Team is going to be showing some ideas for you on Mondays with the Mini Magnolias and Wednesdays with the Wee Stamps. We hope it will help give you a starting point so you can go off on your own direction!!! :) This is in addition to our usual fun hops and challenges. Find all the information HERE at Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge Blog. We hope you will join in on the fun!
Diana at Magnolia-licious has a wonderful selection of Magnolia Stamps and now the Wee Stamps. Don't forget to check out all the fantastic dies she is carrying too! Yup, my latest addiction. Amongst other things! Also check out the great specials along with the store credit you always get too!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments! Thank you for taking the time because I know how busy everyone gets!
Enjoy every day!
