A Flower Card to Die for!

Was playing with some Cheery Lynn Design dies and love how the pieces fall out of the dies.  As if there aren't enough punches to use for flowers, I had to find dies too!  Sure makes it fun to have all the choices!!!
Added a rhinestone in the center of the flower and a string bow, otherwise, it is all paper!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy every day!

The Doctor is IN!!!

I'm so glad they made a Doctor Edwin to go with Nurse Tilda!  Isn't he handsome??!!!  This kind of reminds me of Doctor Ben Casey from waaaay back!!!  Am I dating myself here?!!!  :)

This card is dedicated to my poor Magnolia-licious Design Teammates that have been feeling under the weather lately!  Sending all my get well wishes to you gals!!!!

Now this is an exclusive stamp from Diana at Magnolia-licious!  He also comes in the mini version which is available right now.  Sorry the full size version is on re-order at the moment.  HERE is the link to both of them.
It is hard to photograph, but there is a bottle there made out of acetate.  The pills are made from the Stampin' Up! slot punch and I just hand cut the rest.  The Prescription was computer generated.  Didn't do so hot on that heart rate line with the sewing machine!  Used the wrong stitch and also didn't know I was going to put a pill bottle there!!!  Oh well....next time!
Dr. Edwin is water colored with Distress Inks.  Haven't done the inside yet, but I'm thinking one of the Nurse Tilda's would be quite appropriate!!!  That's about it!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy every day!!!

Magnolia Mini World Binder Blog Hop

Can we say "a little carried away"????  :)  Well I had fun and got to use some things I hadn't yet.  Always makes me feel better when something finally gets used.  I've wanted to do some sewing lately too, so this will have to do till I can get to the fabric!!!

Of course, I love the minis and now we have a perfect way to store them to keep them safe and easy for us to find!  If you have come from Cheryl Rowley's creative blog, you have come to the right hop on the list.  If you came on your own, you can go to Magnolia-licious Highlites to get the list order and start from the beginning for the Design Teams blogs.
I was a little concerned about covering up the pretty logo that comes on the binders, but I will use this one for my index and first album and then will leave the others alone!!!  They really are beautiful the way they come, but you know us crafters always have to try a little altering!  I wanted to try some sewing on paper again, so thought it would be a good time to make a quilted background with the Magnolia papers--mini version!  Love these papers!!!  The print is perfect for card making as well as other things! I used my trusty Scor-Pal to help line up the squares that I cut approximately 2" x 2".  I taped the squares together then layered a solid backing on it when I stitched the lines.  Was really quite easy to do!
Using a mask, I made a partial image and stamped the minis on ovals then colored with distress inks.  Layered these on the Magnolia Dream Tags for my little portraits.  Added some flowers and butterflies and the words are cut out with a couple of Sizzix letter sets.  The sides are edged with the Magnolia Antique Lace Border.
The binders are an exclusive, custom-made by Diana at Magnolia-licious!  She really planned these out nicely.  A place for every little cutie that we get!  For those of us with poor memories, it's nice to have a place to jot down what collection it is from too!
Here are the links to the following products at Magnolia-licious where you will find a fantastic selection and great service with the nicest people:
#4 DOOHICKEY DIE SWIRL#18 DOOHICKEY DIE ROSE LEAF
#36 DOOHICKEY DIE VINTAGE DAISIES
I’ve also used a Spellbinders Oval die and Sizzix Sizzlet dies for the letters.  Still need a little practice, but the pearls are made with the Pearl Pen from Viva Decor.

Now you will want to hop on over to Angie Hunt's blog to see the fabulous creation she has made!  I already took a peek at it and you won't want to miss hers or any of the Design Team's creativity!!!

Please join us and take the challenge to alter your own binder, scrapbooks, notebooks, etc.  You will have a chance to win one of the fantastic binders and also two mini stamps of your choice!  That  Diana...she is soooo generous!!!  All the details are HERE at Magnolia-licious Highlites.

Thanks for stopping by and again always appreciate the comments!  Makes my day and warms my heart!!!!  Enjoy Every Day!!!

Dancing Queen Tilda Birthday Card

Tilda is a dancing happy girl celebrating someone's birthday! Had colored Tilda with Promarkers and Touch markers a while ago and ran across some paper that I thought would go with her.

Used some DooHickey dies and this newer Strawberry/Flower dies make the sweetest little flower.

Please check out Diana's wonderful Magnolia store at Magnolia-licious! She has the best selection of all things Maggie plus many other fun things!  I'm working on projects using the new No More Shims Mat and the Stay Put Craft Mat too!  They are awesome tools to add to your collections of fun and can't do without tools.  Like the Scor-Pal or Scor-Buddy, what did we do before we had them!  Diana knows her stuff!  If she doesn't invent it herself, she finds the best products out there!  Don't accept imitations!!!!

The products and links I used for this project are:
#254 DANCING QUEEN
#20 DOOHICKEY ROMANTIC LACE BORDER DIE
#26 DOOHICKEY HEART SWIRL DIE
#27 DOOHICKEY MAGNOLIA TREE DIE  Leaf
#34 WILD STRAWBERRY AND FLOWERS  Flowers
Also used Spellbinders oval plain and scallop dies along with a white gel pen and some rhinestones for bling.  Paper is out of my stash.  Stamps are Hero Arts and Paper Inspirations.
Monday the 19th, the design team is going to have another fun blog hop!!!  Hope you will hop along with us and see what fun project we have been working on!!!

See you again soon!   Lovin' the cooler weather, now hoping it doesn't get too cold too quickly!!!

Enjoy every day!  Thank you for taking the time to stop by and your comments are always appreciated!!!

Merry Christmas Rose

Trying to clean and sort out some things in my craft and stamp room, but I so easily get sidetracked.  All it takes is a piece of paper and a pattern.  Saw this sketch on Splitcoast Stampers and thought it would be quick and easy.   Hmmmmm, I usually don't do these things quickly, but surprisingly enough it did go pretty fast.

Used a Snowflake Cuttlebug Embossing Folder for the background, a Martha Stewart border die along with EK Success, Punch Bunch and DooHickey Die to make the flowers and leaves.  Merry Christmas stamp is an old one from Stampendous.  Added a little bling of pearls.  The DooHickey Rose Leaves die is from Magnolia-licious.  Love how it puts the veins in it as it cuts it out!  You can find them HERE!
Now I have to get back to work!!!  Have to focus!!!!  :)

Enjoy every day!!!

Monochromatic Birthday Card

Funny how a person starts out with one idea and it completely evolves into something else.  I started with Graphics 45 paper that has Peter Rabbit on it and ended up turning it over and using the back side print instead.

Made this card for an especially nice lady that is always looking out for me!  Thanks Jackie!

There was no stamping involved except on the inside, but did make use of some terrific dies and punches.  Used the Spellbinders Parisian border and motif and Punch Bunches Groovy Flower, Twig, Dahlia Petals, Daisies and Butterfly punches.
Sponged around the edges of everything with Versamark ink and added liquid applique to the petals and some pearls.

This design was inspired by Elly's work.  She's from Norway and makes such beautiful creations with a monochromatic theme and uses lots of dies and punches.  Thank you Elly for sharing your work!

Enjoy every day!!!

Lovely Tilda Ready for Fall

September and guess we have to start thinking autumn! That creative Sharon Caudle has come up with a great challenge for us for Magnolia-licious HighlitesFall or Back to School Projects using rich Fall Colors   Quite appropriate I think!!!

From Diana's Magnolia-licious store, I've used #371 TILDA WITH FLOWER POT.  Tilda is water colored with Distress Inks.

I've also used a Spellbinders die, and Punch Bunch, EK Success and Stampin' Up punches.  The embossing folder is mostly covered up by the flowers, and that is by Sizzix.

Please join us in this challenge!  That generous Diana has offered a really nice prize again!!!  All the details are at Magnolia-licious Highlites along with all the design teams projects.

Happy Fall Y'All!!!

Enjoy every day!
