Tilda Longstocking Friend Card

Dr. Monday MD day and I had some papers left on my table from the last project and figured why not use them!  Pippi Longstocking was one of my favorite stories as a kid, so loved when Tilda became a Longstocking too!!!

Find the following at the Magnolia-licious Store:
MINI 228 TILDA LONGSTOCKING
DH 75 PEONIES DIE
DH 9 SUMMER FOLIAGE DIE
DH 73 JOLLY TAGS DIE
IO 55 LEAFY BRANCH DIE
PS 837 DELICATE CHAIN DIE
Instead of actually using the Delicate Chain Diecut, I used the leftover edge.  Makes a nice little border that I used on the top of the little banners and the bottom of the Jolly Tag. Tilda Longstocking is colored with Promarkers.  Along with the above dies I did use Spellbinders ovals and a friends die.  Added some Antique Linen Distress Ink to age and some pearls.

If you haven't checked out the new website redo at Magnolia-licious™, please do!  So nice to see the great layout and everything is so fresh and new!

Thanks for peeking in!  Always appreciate your comments!  Enjoy every day!!!

Magnolia Notes

I made a nice tablet holder at Crafters Haven in Minneapolis the other day.  For my Dr. Monday MD (Minis and Dies) project, I took it home and added some more things to it.  Had to make it 3D of course!!!  Loved the Graphics 45 paper and thought the minis would work well on the postcard type paper.

You can find the Minis and Dies at Diana's great Magnolia-licious online store:
MINI A21 TILDA WITH LACE PANTS
DH 44 SWIRLY LACE DIE
DH 84 EDWINS RECTANGLE LACE DIE
DH 93 SWIRL DIE
PS 807 GENTLE LEAF DIE
MB 203 NORRLAND FLOWER DIES
Did a little aging on the papers with distress ink.  Tilda is colored with Promarkers.  Also some pearls added.  Didn't get a chance to jazz up the inside, it was very plain, so didn't photograph it.  The tablet size is 6" x 9" and just glued onto the inside back cover.  The cover is made from chipboard covered with the Graphic 45 paper.

Now Barb Hardeman has been busy creating more fabulous treasures!  Stop by her blog Stampelicious to see the adorable note cards and box she made showcasing the minis!

If you are looking for some more inspiration, be sure to check out the design team cards and projects at the Magnolia-licious Card Gallery.  Link is HERE.  You will see lots of great ideas using both past and present Magnolia stamps and others.

Thanks so much for stopping  by and I appreciate your comments!  Enjoy every day!

Mistletoe Tilda Card

Experimenting with a few things!  I colored the Mistletoe with alcohol markers and used the Shabby Embossing Enamel for the first time.  Will need a little practice, but one Christmas card done!!!  This is  my project for the Dr. Monday MD  (Minis and Dies)!

Check in to Magnolia-licious to find the things I used:
MINI 353 CHRISTMAS EVE TILDA
DH 16 MISTLETOE BORDER DIE
DH 64 WAVE LACE DIE
DH 27 SO WRAPPED MERRY CHRISTMAS

Used just half of the Merry Christmas tag, but this is a nice die to make the folded over tag and put an extra message inside too.  Coloring the Mistletoe with the markers was really easy and gives such a different look than just a colored card stock.  Love the Wave Lace border die due to the fact it can be used for waves or scallops...just depends what side of the card stock you use!  Tilda is colored with Promarkers and had a chance to try out the Stampin' Up Blendabilities.  I like the red combo that I didn't have in the Promarkers.

Check in on what is happening at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog and join in.    Christmas in July Challenge     Good way to get started with Christmas cards too!

Thanks for stopping by and Enjoy Every Day!!!
