In the Pink Clover

Here is my project for Dr. Monday MD (Minis and Dies).  These clover dies make the cutest little flowers that fit nicely with the mini Magnolia images.

The lovely items I used from Diana's Magnolia-licious:
MINI 25 SITTING TILDA WITH BUTTERFLY
DH 76 CLOVER WITH FLOWER DIES
DH 71 SPRAWLING FERN DIES
MB 165 CHERISE LABEL DIE

Oh my, when I put the picture on the blog, it hit me.........reminds me of Pepto-Bismol because of the pink!!!  Oh well, rather appropriate for the Dr. Monday card ain't it!!!!  These clover flowers are just one style that can be made with these dies.  Just love the shape!!!  Looks like little hearts gathered in a circle!  When used with many layers they do make a nice round clover flower too.
This fancy Memory Box label frame sets off the simple ovals to easily use a mini image.  Click HERE to see the wide variety of images available.  Tilda is colored with Promarkers and the background embossing is a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I've added some pink rhinestones for a little sparkle.

You'll want to check out the SENSATIONAL Spring/Summer Kit that Diana is offering!  A generous amount of quality and fun items for an especially low price!  Click HERE to go directly to it.  Don't know about you, but I LOVE getting those kinds of packages in the mail!

This is my prescription to start the week with some home remedy card making therapy!  Hope you have a wonderful week!!!

Enjoy every day!!!

Happy Birthday to You

Happy Birthday to you!!!  What a fun Memory Box die and cuts out beautifully!  Made this card for today's Dr. Monday MD.

You can find this die and others plus other great things at Magnolia-licious:
MINI LM 12 TILDA WITH VINTAGE OUTFIT
MB 58 HAPPY BIRTHDAY EXTRAVAGANZA
DH 75 PEONIES DIES
DH 61 STRAWBERRY - LEAVES
DH 69 TEA LABEL SHAPE DIES
DH 71 SPRAWLING FERNS DIES

Some exciting news!!!  Diana is offering an extra special called the Mini Stamp Club.  Wonderful deal for those wanting to try the minis or add to your collection!!!  Please click HERE to check out the details for this fantastic deal!!!

Like I mentioned this Birthday Day cuts out beautifully.  I find the printed paper is a little thin, so adhere two layers together and then cut out the die for a little more dimension.  There are three shapes in the Tea Label Shape Dies for a nice variety!  Found the leaves from the strawberry die is a nice size for some of the flowers too!

Appreciate your comments and thank you for stopping by!

Enjoy the day!!!

Delight in the Day

This preprinted button that came with these papers was the start for this card.  This Gucci Tilda is on her way to do shopping with her little purse to go along with the phrase Delight in the Day!  So what better way for my project for Dr. Monday MD (minis and dies) to do a little shopping!!!

Magnolia-licious is my favorite online store which offers such a variety of wonderful stamps and dies with great prices and specials!!!  Plus you'll find top notch customer service from the nicest people!!!

Here is what I used on this project from Magnolia-licious:

Took the Romantic Tag die and traced and cut out to get the layer behind the tag.  Just the right size!  Used the smallest of the Phlox petals along with the center and the leaves.  Love this set too!   Placed some of the hearts that fall out of the border and tag for embellishments on the card.  Tilda is colored with Promarkers.
Thank you for stopping by and remember if you would like to leave a comment, your name will be in a drawing for a generous surprise from Diana at Magnolia-licious!  Find all the details at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.
Enjoy every day!

Easter Blessings Cross

Happy Easter!!!  Well a little early, but if you want to get started on your Easter projects this is the time.

I hope you are following along with the Magnolia-licious Design Team Spring/Easter Hop for some springtime inspiration.  If you came from Norma's From My Craft Room, you are hopping along the right path.  Wasn't her project fabulous???!!!  LOVE her work!  If you came on your own, you won't want to miss anybody, so go to the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog to find all the information.

For my project I've recreated a cross from a long time ago using lots of great dies from Magnolia-licious:
MINI 3078 TILDA WITH HER RABBIT
MINI 410 VINTAGE SWEDISH BACKGROUND
DH 8 DOILY FLOWERS DIES
DH 71 SPRAWLING FERN DIES
DH 61 STRAWBERRY DIE
MB 05 SMALL DEBUTANTE FRAME DIE
MB 122 SMALL ALDER TREE DIE
MB 203 NORRLAND FLOWER DIE
MB 206 LOVELY ASTER DIE

The dies have so much versatility.  Can you figure out where I used the strawberry die?
The stand is created by folding back the sides.  The Scor-Buddy works great for scoring the lines for this part.  Diana has a wonderful package deal HERE.  The stand also makes a spot to put a message.  I've printed this on the computer and then added the sweet mini Magnolia stamps.
So have you guessed where I used the strawberry die yet?  It is the lily flowers and leaves!  You can see below how I've trimmed the petals.  For the leaves, just trace on green paper and cut out.  I drew lines on the green piece to show how to cut the leaves from this.  The yellow centers are just a 1" square cut with narrow strips almost to the edge and then coiled.
The following is the pattern I've used to get the three layers for the cross.   It should help with the dimensions if you want to try it yourself.  Just a note, you might want to trim the bottom of the stand a little, so it leans back just a tad.  With all the flowers on the front, it gets a little front heavy.
With all the die cutting I do, the eBosser has been such a fabulous tool.  Love the fact that I can emboss and cut things on the larger format and really didn't think I needed the electronic part, but found that is soooo nice to have!!!  You  can check out the eBosser and accessories HERE!  Also love that you can do a full sheet of card stock in the A4 embossing folders.  I used the Teresa Collins Beautiful Brocade embossing folder on the top layer.  This folder came with my machine.

Thank you for stopping by and wishing you a Happy Easter and Spring!!!  Be sure to hop along to Katie Tate's  Both Sides of the Paper blog!  She is so creative has the cutest basket with a tutorial for you too!!!

Enjoy every day!
