Royal Wedding Card

Figured I needed to make a wedding card with our own royal couple in Magnolia World!!!  Used the MINI #158 BRIDAL COUPLE along with the DooHickey #4 Leaf and Swirl from Magnolia-licious.

The adorable couple are water colored with distress inks and embellished with glaze, stardust and white gel pens.  Also used a Stampin' Up! stamp and embossing folder, an EK Success circle and flower punch, Punch Bunch ivy leaf, Spellbinders oval and scalloped oval dies along with some pearls and ribbon.

There is still one more day to enter Sharon's April challenge using both Tilda and Edwin  HERE at Magnolia-licious Highlites.  Hope you will join us!

Enjoy every day!!!

Starts With a Piece of Paper

Sometimes it just starts with a piece of paper!!!  I loved the soft color of this Bazzill paper and got a new corner die, so just had to try it out.  Also wanted to color this adorable new Tilda!  I just don't know how they can keep getting cuter!!!  Was trying to keep it simple and not add flowers, but I just couldn't do it!  Had to add at least a few!

Click on the item to go directly to it at the store:
#3034 TILDA WITH BUTTERFLY JEANS
#22 VINTAGE FLOWERS AND LEAVES DIES
#9 DRAGONFLIES

Diana the very kind lady at Magnolia-licious is offering yet another way of giving back!  Check out the details at the Magnolia-licious Blog about the In Store Credit for all of your purchases at the store.

I'll fess up on the corner die!  I grabbed a piece of scrap paper just to test it out and then found out the piece didn't come completely out of the paper.  Thought I got a bad one till I figured out it is supposed to be like that!!!  Always a learning lesson!!!

Tilda is water colored with Distress Inks, mainly tumbled glass, tattered rose and vintage photo.  Also used a Nellie Snellen corner die, Spellbinders lacy circle die, JustRite word and border stamp along with some rhinestones, pearls, and ribbon for added jazz!  Tilda is water colored with Distress Inks, mainly tumbled glass, tattered rose and vintage photo.
Tilda is 3D'd with one to three layers.  I tried taking photos of the side without showing you the lovely foam tape I use for the, layering!!!
Don't forget there is still time to enter the Easter-Spring Extravaganza Contest.  All the info is right HERE at Magnolia-licious Highlites.   Diana has come up with some great categories and talk about some generous prizes...WOW!!!  You certainly don't want to miss out on this opportunity!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my speck in the blog world!  Always appreciate the time taken for those that get a chance to leave comments!  "You Make Me Smile" and it makes my day for sure!!!

Enjoy every day!

Sweet Danni

A card I made quite some time ago, but just hadn't posted it!!!  Thought this stamp was from Belles 'n' Whistles, but thanks to Danni at SCS I found out it was from Susana's Custom Art and Card.  Water colored her with Distress Inks and used a Spellbinders die to cut the shape out.  The paper from DCWV-Mariposa had this pretty design on it with the butterflies, so I just cut along the edge so the Spellbinder die shape could be slid behind the butterflies.  Added a flower and leaves made with punches from Nellie Snellen, Punch Bunch and a Magnolia DooHickey die.  Added a little Stickles for some sparkle too!
Enjoy every day!

Tilda and Edwin Dancing

There is a new challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites!  I'm running a little behind, so you might have already read about it.  The oh so creative Sharon is the hostess this month and has come up with Tilda and Edwin together on our projects!   This image crossed my mind right away, but then there was the dilemma to use the regular size ones or the mini!  So I did both!!!

This is #3073 TILDA AND EDWIN DANCING and you can find it HERE at Magnolia-licious!

Used some paper I had in my stash and created some records with black card stock and the Spellbinder circle dies.  Also stamped Enjoy Your Day from a Stampin' Up set, punched edges with an old Martha Stewart punch and added some metal brads.  Water colored Tilda and Edwin with Distress Inks and white gel pen for accents.
Thought about putting the mini version on the inside of the card and then decided to just make another card.  I also thought of this verse by Mark Twain and thought it would be appropriate for the dancing kids!!!
The mini version is MINI #3073 TILDA AND EDWIN DANCING and can be found HERE.   These two just make you want to join them and dance too!!!

The gals on the Design Team have made some fantastic cards!  I sure love their creativity!!!  Be sure to check out their projects if you haven't already and hope you will join the challenge.

While you are there check out all the wonderful entries in the Magnolia-licious Easter/Spring Extravaganza!!!  Oh my, sooo much talent!!!  There is still time to join this too!   Click HERE to go to Magnolia-licious Highlites for all the details!

Glad you could stop by!!!  Enjoy every day!!!
