Cuddly Horse and Angel with Violin

Ain't this little stamp sweet???  Thought it was perfect for a baby card!  This the MINI #611 Cuddly Horse.  Can you tell I'm kinda addicted to these minis??!!!

The edges are the MINI #19 ZIG ZAG AND SCALLOP DooHickey Die.  I've found these are perfect for just that little added trim.  Used some paper I've had for ages, water colored with Distress Inks, words and oval punches are Stampin' Up!,  Stardust pen for accents and buttons with thread to finish it off.

Also finished off another card I had started.

MINI #3064 TILDA WITH VIOLIN
#645 SILENT NIGHT BACKGROUND
#6 BON VOYAGE FOLIAGE
#22 VINTAGE FLOWERS AND LEAVES
#8 DOILY FLOWERS
The flowers are a little overpowering, but went with them anyway!  Kinda partial to those dies too!!!  Stamped Angel Tilda in Versafine Vintage Sepia for a softer look.  The stamped images in the background are the Bliss set from Stampin' Up! using white craft ink.   Used oval Spellbinder dies, white gel pen, water colored and distressed with the Distress Inks and added pearls and stickles.
You can find your Magnolia stamps HERE at Diana's Magnolia-licious.

I should quit playing and get to my taxes!!!  Hmmmm wonder what will win out???

Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy every day!!!

Mini Tilda Amongst the Flowers

Still trying to finish more things that I've started.  This is a card I made for a class some time back and had some leftover pieces but added the lattice work in the circle.  This little Tilda was one of the first minis and I sat and colored a bunch of them because they were so cute!!!  This is MINI #384 JAM TILDA.  She is just perfect to sit on the edge of a circle or oval amongst the flowers.
One of my first attempts with ProMarkers, so there wasn't much shading involved!  The background paper is some embossed wallpaper I found a long time ago.  Added flowers and leaves from Punch Bunch.  Used Spellbinders dies to get my circles.  Added pearls and white gel pen for accents.

HERE is a direct link to Diana's Magnolia-licious Store where you can find both minis and regular size Magnolia stamps.  Terrific service and VERY NICE people!!!

The Magnolia-licious Highlites challenge is still going, so there is still time to enter for some very generous prizes!  If you haven't done the hop, you can still check out all the wonderful projects from both design teams!  Click HERE for all the details.

The sun is shining and hopefully will melt off this white stuff AGAIN!!!  Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy every day!

Easter-Spring Extravaganza at Magnolia-licious Highlites

Thank goodness finally some signs of spring coming!  It is wonderful to think of flowers popping up, green grass and leafy trees along with warm sunny days.

Magnolia-licious Highlites is having a fun and very exciting Easter/Spring Extravaganza challenge sponsored by Diana at Magnolia-licious!  So many of you have already entered with very gorgeous projects.  The Design Teams have worked on some projects too and we’re appropriately having a hop to go along with our theme!!!  If you came here from the artististic Maria's blog, you are hopping along in the right direction.  If you came on your own, you wouldn’t want to miss any of these creative and inspirational projects, so you’ll want to go HERE to start at the beginning.

Unbelievable prizes for this contest, so check out the details HERE!!!!

I’ve got a couple of projects and they involve the cutie Mini Maggies!!!  The first one is based on the idea of Sugar Eggs I made as a kid.  We would mix sugar and I think it was egg whites and then press into plastic egg molds.  When they were set up, we would scoop the insides out to make just a shell.  Then the fun began with making little scenes on the inside with frosting and plastic little characters. Then we would decorate the outside with more frosting and frosting flowers.  So using paper was much easier!!  I have some glittery paper for the “sugar egg” part and made my scene with Mini Maggies.

MINI #454 MAGNOLIA TREE
MINI #421 SUN

Please check with Diana on the Mini Magnolia Tree and Mini Sun.  Can you tell, I kinda like these flowers and leave....used them on my last few projects!!!  :)  Water colored with Distress Inks and used the Spellbinders ovals to cut out.  Added ribbon, rhinestones, and Stickles glitter glue for more sparkle.  Cut out a little stand because my "egg" kept falling over!!!  :)

You can find Mini Maggies HERE at Diana’s terrific store Magnolia-lious.

Another thought of spring is riding bicycles.  So I used the darling Mini Edwin riding his bike with a row of nice green  Mini Trees showing behind him.

Again water colored with Distress Inks, also used the Scor-Pal to put in some accent lines, an EK corner punch, a Stampin’ Up embossing folder, word stamp and hardware.  These mini border dies are a great addition to masculine cards!

Hope you will hop onto this challenge and join us too.  Diana is sooooo generous with her prizes for the contests!!!  Stop by her store Magnolia-licious HERE to find the Magnolia Stamps both big and small.  She has the best store with awesome service and is the sweetest lady too!!!

Next hop on over to the awesome Mindy to check out what fabulous creation she has done!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by and as always so appreciate the comments left.  I love to see who is here and your comments are very encouraging!!!

Enjoy every day!

Dozing Under the Tree

Hey Katie!  Found him, here he is!!!  This is a darling little stamp from Lili of the Valley.  I've watercolored him with distress inks, added some punch and die embellishments.  (Sizzix, Stampin' Up!, EK Success)
Added some white gel pen accents and can't see it, but also used the clear glaze pen to make some things shiny.

Thanks for checking in!
Enjoy every day!

New Friends

Still trying to finish up some of those started projects.  This was my attempt with the ProMarkers.  Definitely different coloring with than the Distress Inks.  I've used a Spellbinders Blossom, Martha Stewart Punches Vintage Lace and Elizabeth Bells New Friends stamp.  I used some lovely flowers that my friend Marion was kind enough to send me!  Thank you Marion!!!  Leaves are the Twig Punch by Punch Bunch and Maidenhair Fern by Leone Em.

Many Minis Frame

What a great way to start out March!  Wonderful hostess Janiel has given us a recipe for the March 1st Magnolia-licious Highlites challenge.  Please check HERE to see what the other Design Team members have made and also for all the details.

This is actually my 3rd Finish What You Start project!  I had been wanting to do this frame for quite some time.  I did have it cut out in different paper, but wanted to use more of the paper from the Bon Voyage collection for this project.

We are to make a frame and use at least one each of a Magnolia Image, flower, trim or ribbon and pearls or bling.  Well I sure didn't have any problem using more than one of almost everything!

I used more darling little mini's along with Magnolia paper and DooHickey dies all of which I got from the very kind  Diana at Magnolia-licious.

Direct links to the Magnolia items are:
MINI #3047 SO SPOOKY
MINI #3028 TILDA WITH THREE FLOWERS
MINI #3044 TILDA WITH FLOWING HAIR
MINI #427 LAZY SUMMER FLOWERS
BON VOYAGE PAPER PACK
#7 OLD SWEDISH LACE
#22 VINTAGE FLOWERS AND LEAVES

Water colored with Distress inks.  Also used the Penny Black verse stamp again and Spellbinders Label 4 dies along with stickles, pearls, white and stardust gel pens.  The frame was made from a die cut.

There have been so many terrific entries in the past challenges.  Please join us for this fun one too!

Enjoy every day!
