Lovely as a Tree Border

Saw a card on SCS that Heather T had made and just loved it!  This will make a great guy card for any occasion.  Added a couple of things and guess used less colors than she did.  Thanks for the inspiration Heather.

All Stampin' Up! supplies used were:
Lovely as a Tree Stamp
Teeny Tiny wishes
Very Vanilla card stock
Always Artichoke card stock- scrap
Lattice Embossing Folder
Early Expresso Ink Pad
Marina Mist Ink Pad
Always Artichoke Ink Pad
Modern Label Punch
Word Window Punch
2-Way Glue Pen
Stamping Sponges
Dimensionals

Made two "post-it" note type masks using the 2-way glue.  Let dry before using.

Embossed the edge with the folder.
Stamped the trees in Early Espresso.  Masked top and bottom edges of the tree border and stamped the trees again after stamping off twice.  Sponged Marina Mist at the top edge and Always Artichoke at the bottom edge.

Stamp the words on Very Vanilla scrap, punch out and add to a punched out Modern Label piece in Always Artichoke.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Enjoy every day!!!

Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

This challenge for the Magnolia-licious Design Team was for Birthday Celebrations with altered project in honor of the wonderful Diana Crick of Magnolia-licious since it is her birthday this month!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY Diana!!!!

If you have come from the amazing Becca Feeken's blog, you are coming from the right direction.  If you have stopped by on your own, you might want to start at the beginning at the Magnolia-licious Highlites to read all the details about the hop.

For my card and project, I did them with the lovely new Bon Voyage Tilda!  What a sweetie!!!  Watercolored with Distress Inks.  Also love the new DooHickey dies, so used the leaf and swirls dies too!  You can find these at Diana's store Magnolia-licious here.  She has a terrific selection and if she is out of a particular stamp you are looking for be sure to check with her.

Had used all the hardware from a Stampin' Up! hardware tin, but of course saved it for a future project so it came in handy for this one.  Guess that's why I hang on to soooo much stuff!!!  :)   The tin was already turquoise, so worked the projects around that color.

Supplies I used:
#277 Bon Voyage Tilda
#4 Leaf and Swirl DooHickey Dies
Mat Mettallic Silver Card Stock
White and Turquoise Card Stock
Distress Inks:  Tattered Rose, Broken China, Pumice Stone, Tea Die
Punches:  Martha Stewart Deco Fan and Stampin' Up Ovals
     Punch Bunch Deco Flower
Spellbinder Oval die
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Polka Dots
Ribbons, Silver Cord, Crystals
Stampin' Up! Hardware Tin
Scor-Buddy

Then to decide what to put in the jazzed up tin!  Decided to fill it with some of my flowers along with some little Prima roses and some flower centers plus an assortment of punched leaves.  All ready for a card maker to plop onto a card!

Thanks so much for stopping by and always enjoy any comments you are so kind enough to leave!

Now you get to party on over for a real treat at Suzanne Dean's blog here!  I definitely know she will have something fantastic for you to enjoy!!!

Enjoy every day!!!

Senorita Tilda

Finally finished this card and it is nothing like what I had in my head when I started!  Maybe that's why it takes soooo long!!!!  Did a little playing with the White Glaze Pen, Crystal Lacquer and Stickles.  Used the White Glaze Pen on the fan and ruffles and then added some Stickles.  Put Crystal Lacquer on her shoes, hair and the rose in her hair.  The photo doesn't pick it up very well, but I used a mat finish Gold Metallic card stock to go with the gold metallic look of the Magnolia design paper.

Love this new little Spanish Tilda and used the fun DooHickey dies again too!  They work really nice and can't wait for the others to come out too!  At this time you can pre-order these dies plus the new ones and Diana has the Spanish Tilda along with the other new adorable stamps from the Bon Voyage Collection at Magnolia-licous  HERE
